Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and raised near Annapolis, Maryland, Karl’s career began with early sailing exposure and training under the legendary sailor David Immelman in Cape Town, South Africa. While running performance catamarans and crossing oceans on trans-Atlantic voyages, Karl earned his stripes as a seasoned navigator, sharp strategist, and trusted broker to those who demand the very best at sea.

People mostly know Karl as a sailor but he has a substantial parallel career as an entrepreneur, and activist in technology, professional services, & environmental sustainability ventures.
